We are looking for a Project Coordinator, in cooperation with our client, a Japanese utility provider offering solutions for conventional and sustainable energy generation.
You will join a close-knit office of 4 coordinators at their office in Amsterdam. With the business expanding steadily, the workload is increasing, and the current team would benefit from adding you as an additional member to their team.
As Project Controller, you will be responsible for the financial review and administration of contracts agreements and legal documents for projects in the utility sector. All projects are collaborations of the parent company and its numerous subsidiaries around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Review and administration of various contract agreements for projects.
- Supporting the accounting team for invoices regarding the expenses associated with the projects.
- Preparation of accounting reports of Dutch subsidiaries related to the projects.
- For projects related to Dutch subsidiaries, you will create various reports regarding budgets, legal documents, tax matters, invoices and documentation compliance.
- Reports are presented to Managing Director who will guarantee the quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in a relevant field, e.g. finance, accounting or law
- Fluency in Japanese and English, written and spoken
- 3+ years of relevant working experience
- Basic accounting knowledge to create balance sheets or a profit & loss analysis
- Basic legal knowledge and understanding of financial regulations
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
