Recruitment and HR Consultant – Japan Desk

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Recruitment & HR Consultant – Japan Desk who can join our international team in the Hague. As the HR & Recruitment consultant – Japan Desk, you will play a key role in helping our Japanese clients to hire the best talent and optimize their HR processes.

Responsibilities:
Recruitment
* Managing the full recruitment cycle ;
* Growing and maintaining a network of professionals that are actively and passively looking for new roles;
* Conducting screening calls and video interviews to qualify potential candidates;
* Negotiating and mediating remuneration packages with candidates and clients;
* Advising candidates and clients in the recruitment cycle.
HR
* Understanding the unique needs of Japanese clients and proposing tailor-made HR solutions;
* Providing HR consultation to Japanese clients to ensure their compliance with Dutch labor law and other local regulations, such as review of employment contracts and employee handbooks, drawing up employment-related policies;
* Providing hands-on HR support for Japanese clients, such as work visa applications, 30% ruling applications, time-card and expenses, leave management, and more.

Requirements:
* 2+ years of recruitment experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business Administration / Psychology or a related study;
* Fluency in English and Japanese;
* Experience in HR is a great plus.
* Skilled with modern tech sourcing, Boolean keyword understanding;
* IT Literate with MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word etc.);
* Good knowledge of Dutch labor law;
* Self-starter, pro-active, commercially focused;
* Effective communication and listening skills;
* Able to deal with ambiguity and show flexibility in a fast-moving environment;
* Shown team working capability;
* Affinity with Japanese business culture.
