Sales Director (Insurance)

Our client, a global leader in data, applications and services for insurance and automotive, is looking for an authentic, energetic and confident Sales Director with a can-do mentality and the ability to lead the commercial team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the internal stakeholders:
• Onboard and manage the commercial Sales team for Insurance Vertical
• Coordinate the Operations team and Product and Development team
• Build the successful commercial strategy to achieve growth
• Manage internal drills and best practices

• Managing external stakeholders:
• Dutch Insurance Association and its members; Dutch central bank
• Rebuild the relationship in the claims market with the flagship Claims Management Solution

• Managing key-customer relations on C-Level for existing and new clients

The Sales Director will report to the regional Sales director and needs to have extensive knowledge of Claims & Underwriting processes.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of enterprise solution sales experience with digital or insurance technology
• 10+ years of proven business development and strategic selling to C-level decision-makers
• A proven track record of driving and closing enterprise software deals; consistent over achievement of quota and revenue goals
• Experience in developing value propositions with customers and exemplary knowledge of sales principles, practices, tactics and tools
• Persuasive and effective written and verbal communications skills, along with strong analytical skills
• Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement to C-Level, and across IT and business units
• Ability to travel occasionally within Europe
• Work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant study is required
