Heidelberg Materials agrees to acquire NCC Industry Sweden and Norway.
German building materials group Heidelberg Materials signed a binding agreement on 7 October 2026 to buy the Swedish and Norwegian aggregates and asphalt operations of NCC's Stockholm-based Industry business area, covering 106 aggregates sites and 44 asphalt plants. The carve-out needs approval from authorities; NCC expects completion in the second half of 2027. It was signed on 7 October 2026. It had not completed by 28 October 2026.
