Midea acquires Esaote.
Midea Group, headquartered in Shunde, Foshan, China, completed its acquisition of a controlling stake in Esaote S.p.A., a medical imaging company based in Genoa, Italy, as Esaote announced on 9 October 2026. Esaote makes ultrasound and MRI systems and medical IT, with research and manufacturing in Italy and the Netherlands. The deal completed on 9 October 2026.
