Energy Exemplar acquires SIMONE Research Group.
Energy Exemplar, an energy modelling software company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, announced on 1 September 2026 that it had acquired SIMONE Research Group of Prague, Czech Republic, developer of the SIMONE gas pipeline network simulation and optimisation software used by more than 100 operators in 50 countries. The purchase was made together with that of SIMONE's development partner LIWACOM in Essen, Germany. The deal completed on 1 September 2026.
