We are currently seeking an Accounting and Payroll Administrator in our dynamic, international-oriented organization. You will play a key role in supporting financial accuracy and compliance.
You will contribute to preparing essential management reports, managing project budgets, supporting audits, and overseeing transactions. This position is vital to maintaining smooth financial operations and ensuring accurate payroll processing for our in-house employees and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Budget Preparation and Oversight
Collaborate with the Shared Services team to prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with the company’s financial goals.
2. Transaction Management
- Manage records and receipts for all daily transactions, ensuring timely updates to financial records.
- Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions to maintain data accuracy.
3. Cashflow and Invoicing
Prepare cashflow statements and weekly overviews of invoices due for payment, ensuring financial liquidity and transparency.
4. Financial Audits and Support
Assist with financial audits and support the Finance Manager and other executives on finance-related projects and tasks as needed.
5. Client Interaction and Service
- Act as the primary financial point of contact for Service Managers, providing customer service and addressing inquiries from other departments on accounting matters.
- Resolve financial disputes raised by customer service and sales teams.
6. Payrolling and Compliance
- Perform payroll processing for in-house employees and consultants, ensuring compliance with tax and payroll regulations.
- Prepare VAT and tax returns for approval and submission, maintaining compliance with local and international financial regulations.
7. Optimization and Analysis
Support the Operations Manager and Head of Shared Services in optimizing project reporting procedures and processes.
Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve any issues contributing to overall financial accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator, with at least three years in a similar role.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential for effective communication in this role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with accounting software, especially EXACT, is required.
- Knowledge of Loon Pro is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Other Skills:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, international environment.
