
Based in The Hague and reporting to the Assistant Controller in Finance, this role is responsible for managing the company’s CRM system, Salesforce, and supporting the Netherlands office. The primary focus of the role is to ensure accurate data entry into Salesforce, maintaining data that is meticulously organized, secure, and easily accessible. By doing so, this role supports multiple departments in managing information efficiently and keeping records up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, update, and maintain customer and business data in the CRM (Salesforce) and other databases/platforms
- Verify the accuracy of information, perform regular audits to identify and correct any inconsistencies
- Generate and manage spreadsheets, reports, and database records
- Perform data validation and ensure data quality meets company standards
- Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking
- Handle confidential data and maintain information security, and comply with GDPR regulations
- Assist with regular data backups to protect against data loss
- Support general administrative activities, including organizing and storing documents
- Respond to data-related queries from colleagues or customers as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and workflow efficiency
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to legally work within the Netherlands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch
- Strong attention to detail
- Fast typing and data processing
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organization and time management
- Good customer service orientation (when dealing with customer-related data)
- Understanding of data confidentiality and privacy standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Good communication skills for internal collaboration
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Education and Experience:
- A degree in business administration, accounting, or related fields is strongly preferred
- 5 years of experience in office and sales admin/business administration experience within a SaaS-based company is strongly preferred
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work full-time within the The Hague office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
- Manual dexterity required to use a laptop computer and related office and computer equipment
- Regular interactions, largely through remote meetings with team members, government, and tax authorities
