As an Accounting and Payroll Administrator in our dynamic and international-oriented organization, you will assume a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Head of Shared Services. Your primary focus will be to play a central role in preparing essential information for management reports. This encompasses overseeing administrative tasks such as formulating project budgets for Service Managers, engaging in both client and internal audits, and monitoring transactions. Additionally, your responsibilities will extend to managing expenditures for clients, preparing Accounts Receivables and invoices, as well as handling salary payrolling for in-house employees and consultants.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Budget Preparation and Oversight:

  • Collaborate in the preparation of budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals.

Transaction Management:

  • Manage records and receipts for all daily transactions, ensuring financial records are up-to-date with the latest changes;
  • Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions to maintain accurate financial data.

Cashflow and Invoicing:

  • Prepare cashflow and weekly overviews for invoices to pay.

Financial Audits and Support:

  • Contribute to financial audits and provide support for the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks as needed.

Client Interaction and Service:

  • Provide customer service to in-house Service Managers, acting as a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters to serve the company’s diverse clientele;
  • Resolve financial disputes raised by customer service and sales teams.

Payrolling and Compliance:

  • Perform salary payrolling for in-house employees and consultants, whether based at clients or on projects.
  • Prepare VAT and tax returns for approval and submission to the authorities.

Optimization and Analysis:

  • Assist the Operations Manager and Head of Shared Services in optimizing project reporting procedures and project processes;
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.

What you will bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, providing a solid educational foundation;
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English language is essential to perform well in this role;
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator, with a minimum of three years of work experience;
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance;
  • Strong proficiency in EXACT and other relevant accounting software;
  • Knowledge of Loon Pro is a pre;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with a detail-oriented and accurate approach;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, essential for our international and diverse work setting.
