As a Payroll Specialist in our dynamic and international-oriented organization, you will assume a pivotal role, supporting our Finance, and Shared Services department. Your primary focus will be to assist with payroll processing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform salary payrolling for in-house employees and consultants, whether based at clients or on projects;
  • Calculate, and process employee pay checks, ensuring accuracy in deductions, taxes, and benefits;
  • Manage payroll schedules and ensure timely distribution of pay checks;
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and implement necessary adjustments;
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, pay rates, hours worked, and deductions;
  • Handle and store sensitive employee data in accordance with data protection regulations;
  • Prepare VAT and tax returns for approval and submission to the authorities;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals;
  • Manage records and receipts for all daily transactions, ensuring financial records are up-to-date with the latest changes;
  • Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions to maintain accurate financial data;
  • Prepare cashflow and weekly overviews for invoices to pay;
  • Contribute to financial audits and provide support for the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks as needed.

What you will bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, providing a solid educational foundation;
  • You are available for now less than 24 hours, and no more than 32 hours;
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English language is essential to perform well in this role;
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with a minimum of three years of work experience;
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance;
  • Strong proficiency in EXACT and other relevant accounting software;
  • Knowledge of Loon Pro is a pre;
  • Excellent organizational, and communication skills, coupled with a detail-oriented and accurate approach;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, essential for our international and diverse work setting.
